Kayak fishing is a fast growing sport. There are few experiences that can compare to kayak fishing. Beautiful scenery, the excitement of hooking a fish, and getting into those hard to fish areas are just a few of the kayak fishing adventures you will encounter. Kayaks, whether sit-inside or sit-on-top models, have proven themselves very useful for fishing. Kayak fishing gives the angler the opportunity to fish waters that are inaccessible to motorboats at a fraction of the cost. Kayaks can be purchased with an anger package already installed. At Riversport Kayaks, Capt. Kirk specializes in rigging kayaks for fishing. The Big Game is designed with a wider seat, bigger storage area, and is great with stability. You may also want to try the new Trident by Ocean kayaks. Both kayaks perform well for standing on flat water or slow moving rivers. Kayak Fishing Classes and Club
We invite all fishermen/women to get involved in our newly formed Fishing Club. Please call for details. Also, we offer kayak-fishing classes through WTI. By taking our class, you can try a fishing kayak before you buy. You will learn how to paddle and fish out of your kayak. You will learn the tools available for catching the different types of fish you will encounter. Another option for a fishing kayak adventure is to take a private charter with Captain Kirk for red fish, sea trout, cobia, jack crevalle, etc.

Absolute Kayaking Kayak Transport
We are now affiliated with Captain Pat Meadors and his "transporter" operation, Absolute Kayaking. Capt. Pat takes you off shore via the transporter boat that holds six Red fish kayaks. He then off loads kayaks for a day of fishing. The boat ride out to those too far to paddle places is a trip through nature.
